At Coombe Abbey Hotel, we’re constantly updating and adapting our safety and security measures to help keep all our guests safe during the current, Covid-19 pandemic.
Our company hotel policy always puts our guests first, and never more so than now. Post-lockdown, you can be assured of a safe stay here at Coombe. Safety and security measures are now in place within every area of Coombe Abbey, and all our staff have had extra training to minimise contact with guests whilst keeping to our usual, impeccable standards.
New safety and security measures in our hotel
We can’t wait to welcome you back and when you arrive, you’ll notice our new self-check in kiosks and a cash free environment. Extra cleanliness and sanitising of all areas will be constant and we’ve also put in a one way system for added safety, as well as handy safety stations with cleaning kits and disposable items.
Adding one way systems is another safety and security measure in the hotel so you can check in, make your way to your room and relax into your stay. You’ll notice a safety sticker on each bedchamber too; a guide that tells you that no one else has been in your room since housekeeping.
We have also taken the extra precaution of removing all non-essential items, but they are available on request, thoroughly sanitised and ready to use.
Delicious dining is still available
When it comes to enjoying food and beverages at Coombe, our restaurant and meeting room layouts have been amended to correspond with social distancing. You can still enjoy a relaxing meal in our Garden Room Restaurant, which has been configured to allow for social distancing.
There are also breakfast ‘Grab & Go’ and takeaway options available so you can tailor your stay to suit your needs. Our popular afternoon tea will also still be available, and can be taken in either in The Garden Room Restaurant, The Marquee or on the West Terrace.
There’s takeaway options too, if you prefer to enjoy your food in your room or in our gardens.
